Ms Uusitalo has wide-ranging experience in different areas of taxation. She has worked for more than eight years as a tax expert, first for the Finnish Tax Administration and then at one of the largest auditing companies. Early in her career, she earned her stripes in personal taxation and the taxation of owner-entrepreneurs. Since then, her duties have focused strongly on international taxation and corporate taxation.

At Heikkilä & Co, Ms Uusitalo specialises in company reorganisation and changes of generation as well as the comprehensive tax planning of SMEs. An important part of her job description is the taxation of foreign companies in Finland and tax issues relating to foreign employees. In addition to tax law, Ms Uusitalo handles assignments dealing with company and inheritance law.
