Special expertise: international legal matters, agency and licensing agreements, bankruptcy cases, family and estate law

Mr Wasenius has had a long legal career. Among other positions, he has served as a lawyer in the international law unit of the Finnish Foreign Trade Association, partner at Seppälä & Wasenius Oy law office, 1973–2000, and Head of the Helsinki office of Heikkilä & Co Oy, 2001–2005. In addition, he is very actively networked in the business world, serving as an office controller at Nordea Bank Plc, business mentor, member of the Association of Finnish Businessmen, member of the Finnish Association for Business Administration, member of Suomalainen klubi association, member of Yritysalojen lakimiesyhdistys association, and member of the Association of Finnish Lawyers. For his accomplishments in promoting Finnish business, he has been awarded the golden medal of merit of the Central Chamber of Commerce.
